Since 2021, the School has undertaken over 519 scientific research projects, including national key research and development programs, projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,  provincial and municipal research projects, as well as horizontal projects. The total funding amounts to 902 million RMB. As the primary affiliation and corresponding author institution, the School has published over 809 SCI papers, including three in Cell and four in Nature (all as cover articles). These achievements have been recognized with honors such as the "Top Ten Advances in Life Sciences in China," "Top Ten Advances in Biomedical Technology in China," the China Patent Gold Award, and the Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Award.
