The School Successfully Hosts the Young Scholars Forum

To implement its talent strategy and broaden high-level talent exchange channels, the School of Life Sciences held the Young Scholars Forum in both Beijing and Shanghai. The events brought together outstanding young scholars from leading universities and research institutes, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, fostering in-depth discussions on academic and career development.

Beijing Leg – June 30, Peking University Boya International Hotel

Mr. Jinlong Ma, Chief Secretary of the CPC Committee of the School, introduced an overview of the School's development.

Professor Xianming Deng, Dean of the School, elaborated on the talent recruitment policies.

Mr. Changqing Lin, an alumnus of the School and Chairman & CEO of Beijing Rejing Biotechnology Co., Ltd., delivered a lecture sharing his insights and predictions on the innovative biopharmaceutical industry.

Professor Hongrui Wang, Deputy Chair of the Faculty's Academic Board, also attended the event.

Shanghai Leg – July 2, Shanghai Good Hope Hotel

Mr. Jinlong Ma, Chief Secretary of the CPC Committee, and Professor Xi Huang, Associate Dean of the School, presented an introduction to the School and its talent recruitment policies. Mr. Zhongzheng Zheng, PhD alumnus and Chairman of Shanghai Dishuo Beiken Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Professor Jing Yuan, Head of the Department of Biology, and Professor Kairui Mao, Head of the Department of Immunology and Microbiology, were among those who attended the event.

During the Shanghai leg, the School delegation also visited local alumni-founded enterprises, including Kewang (Shanghai) Biopharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Dishuo Beiken Biotechnology Co., Ltd., to strengthen mutual ties and explore broader avenues for collaboration.
