From November 7th to 10th, 2025, the 14th Hippo Signaling Pathway International Conference was held in Xiamen. The conference was jointly hosted by the School of Life Sciences, Xiamen University, Xiamen Immunology Society, and the Cell Signaling Branch of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology.

The conference, themed "Organ Regeneration, Immunity, and Cancer," invited over 30 experts and scholars from related fields both domestically and internationally to deliver special lectures. A total of more than 180 representatives from universities and research institutions in Australia, the United States, Singapore, Italy, and China attended the conference. Professor Dawang Zhou from the School of Life Sciences at Xiamen University, Professor Wanjin Hong from the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Singapore, Professor Yingzi Yang from Harvard University, Professor Kieran Harvey from the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Australia, and Professor Lanfen Chen from Xiamen University served as co-chairs of the conference.
Professor Yancheng You, Vice President of Xiamen University, and Lijuan Ouyang, Secretary of the Party and Vice Chairman of the Xiamen Association for Science and Technology, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The opening ceremony was hosted by Dawang Zhou.


The conference gathered a group of world-renowned experts, scholars, and industry representatives, including Kunliang Guan, Stefano Piccolo, and Sheng-Cai Lin. They collectively presented the latest breakthroughs in the Hippo signaling pathway in cutting-edge fields such as tissue homeostasis, tumor immunity, and organ regeneration. They also delved into the pivotal role of the Hippo signaling pathway in the forefront of life sciences and medicine, fully showcasing the vibrant vitality and innovative potential of the global scientific community in this field. Additionally, the conference reported on the journal concept and current development of Vita, a journal initiated and created by the Open Life Science Alliance, which aims to benchmark against CNS.

The conference also included an academic poster presentation session, where four "Excellent Poster Awards" were selected by experts. Kieran Harvey, the member of the organizing committee, presented the awards to the winners.
