On November 9, 2024, the Life Sciences Branch of the XMU American Alumni Association was officially launched in Los Angeles. Hosted by alumnus Liu Hongbing, an alumnus of the 1983 cohort and now a professor at Tulane University, the inaugural ceremony elected He Nanhai, an alumnus of the 1998 cohort and Vice President of Arno Biopharma Technology Co., Ltd. as the president, establishing the first council and supervisory board.

The establishment of this new alumni association marks a milestone for the School of Life Sciences, offering a spiritual home to the alumni in North America, while fostering a stronger bond between alumni and their alma mater.
