报告人简介：Prof. Diether Lambrechts is Director of the VIB Center for Cancer Biology in Leuven, Belgium. He obtained his PhD from KU Leuven and subsequently conducted research at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics at the University of Oxford, UK, before joining VIB as an independent Group Leader in 2008. His research focuses on cancer genomics and the tumor microenvironment, with a strong emphasis on translating genome-scale and single-cell sequencing data into clinically actionable biomarkers and therapeutic strategies. He has published over 550 peer-reviewed papers in leading international journals, including Nature, Nature Medicine, Cell, Immunity, Cell Research, and Lancet Microbe, with more than 75,000 citations and an h-index of 128. He has served as a reviewer for top-tier journals such as CNS and NEJM, and as an advisory board member for more than ten pharmaceutical companies, including Roche, Sanofi, Lilly, Merck, and AstraZeneca. His work has been translated into clinical practice, notably through the development of the FDA-approved Idylla™ MSI Test.
