【报告人简介】Dr. Wang Gufeng, Co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Shenzhen Salus BioMed Co., Ltd, received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Nanjing University, his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa, and postdoctoral training at Iowa State University and Ames Lab, U.S. Department of Energy. Afterwards, he joined the Chemistry Department, North Carolina State University as a faculty member. Dr Wang’s research specializes in optical imaging and surface chemistry, and he is recognized as a pioneer in introducing super-resolution imaging techniques to chemical measurements. He has published over 80 papers in high profile journals including “Nature”. In 2020, Dr Wang co-founded Salus Biomed, where he leads the research and development of high-throughput DNA sequencers and high resolution spatial multi-omics platforms. Presently, he serves as a project leader for Shenzhen Major Science and Technology Projects. As an inventor, he has filed over 140 patents (including 26 PCT applications) and has received 66 authorizations.
