中枢神经系统具有特定的解剖学结构、组织微环境以及独特的免疫监视机制,被认为是免疫豁免器官。而近些年的研究显示神经系统和免疫系统之间存在着双向且复杂的相互作用,在机体感知内外环境的刺激和维持生理稳态的过程中发挥主导作用。免疫系统参与中枢神经系统的发育并且参与在生理和病理条件下中枢神经系统功能的调节。本课题组将致力于解析神经系统-免疫系统互作与调控的独特机制,阐释特定微环境、免疫细胞群、免疫器官以及淋巴管在调节神经系统的功能中所发挥的作用。我们的研究不仅能够深化对中枢神经系统的独特免疫机制这一科技前沿问题的理解,同时对于中枢神经系统的感染、肿瘤、神经退行性疾病等疾病的治疗都具有指导意义和临床应用价值。
The central nervous system has specific anatomical structure, tissue microenvironment, and unique immune surveillance mechanism and is considered a relatively immune-privileged organ However, it is now established that the nervous system and the immune system possess a bidirectional and complex interaction, which plays a pivotal role in the perception of internal and external environmental stimuli and the maintenance of physiological homeostasis. The immune system participates in the development of the central nervous system and regulate the central nervous system function in both physiological and pathophysiological condition. Our research team is dedicated to unraveling the unique mechanisms underlying the interaction and regulation between the nervous system and the immune system, elucidating the roles of specific microenvironments, immune cell populations, immune organs, and lymphatic vessels in modulating the functions of the nervous system. Our research not only uncovers the cutting-edge scientific issue of the unique immune mechanisms of the central nervous system but also have direct potential for being implemented in the treatment of central nervous system infections, tumors, neurodegenerative diseases, and other related conditions.
