1996获北京清华大学生物科学与技术学士学位；2000年获新加坡国立大学微生物硕士学位；2004获新加坡国立大学计算科学/生物信息学博士学位。2005年入选第六批厦门大学青年骨干教师重点培养人选; 2005年入选厦门大学新世纪优秀人才支持计划。
