    现任厦门大学生命科学学院生物学系主任；
    国家林业局南方山地用材林培育重点开放实验室学术委员会委员；
    福建省生态学会常务理事。
    美国迈阿密大学生物系访问学者（2005.3-2006.2）

    从事植物生理生态学研究。目前主要的研究方向：
        （1）红树林单宁的化学生态学研究；
        （2）森林生态系统的结构与功能研究；
        （3）沿海防护林体系的生态功能。
